AirTran Airways is an American low-cost airline based in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 1993 as Conquest Sun Airlines, in 1997 it merged with ValueJet and now it is owned by AirTran Holdings. AirTran Airways serves more than 40 destinations in the United States and Bahamas, offering low-fare fares and cheap business class tickets. It also operates charter flights.
